HomeSales playbooks
A sales playbook your reps will actually open.
Most sales playbooks are written by somebody who has never sold the product. That is why so many of them sit unused in a shared drive.
Not ready to talk? Score your sales process in 2 minutesA playbook earns its place only if a new hire can read it on Monday and take a solid call on Wednesday.
So we sell the product first. We get on the phone with your buyers, find out how it really sells, and write the playbook from that. Everything in the document has held up with a real prospect.
What goes in it
- The call flow. Intro, discovery, education, close, and the transition lines that hold them together.
- Discovery questions that go somewhere. Not a list of twenty. The handful that change what you say next.
- Objection handling tied to cause. Objections surface at the close. They are usually caused in the first five minutes, and the playbook says where.
- The methodology. Why the flow is shaped the way it is, so a rep can adapt instead of reciting.
- Onboarding. What a new hire reads, in what order, and what they have to demonstrate before they are live.
- The bar. What good looks like, written down, so coaching stops being a matter of opinion.
Why teams call us for this
The usual trigger is a hire. You brought on new reps and realized there is nothing to hand them, so they are shadowing whoever is free and picking up whatever that person happens to do. A few weeks later you have several versions of your sales process and no way to tell which one is working.
The second trigger is a plateau. Your close rate moves every month, nobody can explain why, and every theory in the room is a guess because nothing is written down to test against.
How it gets built
- We take live calls on your product and find the version that sells
- We document it while it is fresh, in your reps' language
- We build the training materials that teach it
- We coach your reps on it and revise the playbook where the calls disagree
You get the document. It is yours, it is editable, and it does not expire when the engagement ends.

How long does a sales playbook take to build?
It depends on how long it takes to get enough live calls in to know how the product really sells. You get the estimated hours and the total in writing before any work begins, so there are no surprises midway.
Do we own the playbook?
Yes. It is your document, delivered in a format you can edit, and it stays yours after the engagement ends.
We already have a playbook. Can you fix it instead of starting over?
Often, yes. Plenty of playbooks are structurally fine and just were not built from real calls. We will tell you on the free call whether yours is worth rebuilding or repairing.
Does a playbook make sense for a small team?
That is often the best time to build one, because you are writing it before habits set in across the whole team. It matters just as much on a large floor, where inconsistency costs more.
